Richard Thompson was named in 2003 by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the Top 20 Guitarists of all time and the recipient in 2006 of the BBC Lifetime Achievement Award.
Reylynn Goessling, Violin
Reylynn Goessling graduated from California State University Sacramento (CSUS) with a Bachelor's of Music in Performance under the instruction of Elizabeth Field and a Bachelor's of Arts in Humanities in 2001. In 2008, she received her Master's of Art in Humanities from San Francisco State University. She has performed with the CSUS Symphony as assistant concert mistress and has played in various orchestras including the Solano Symphony, Stockton Symphony, and Merced Symphony, as well as chamber ensembles including the River City Theater Company, The Default Trio, and the All Hallows Orchestra. When she isn't performing in various classical settings, she holds a violin teaching studio at Kline Music in Sacramento, California. Reylynn has recorded for various local Sacramento bands including An Angle, Christopher Fairman, Adrian Bourgeois, and The Stragglers. She plays as well as records with David Houston and Sal Valentino. Currently, Reylynn performs as Assistant Concert Mistress for the Camellia Symphony and joined the Alternative String Band in 2007.
